The Lucid Art Foundation’s Residency Program for 2026 will focus on art and science in relation to the environment at large in light of the climate crisis. The program emphasis directs artists towards alternative ways of raising awareness and promoting action. Climate crisis areas include: biodiversity, habitat loss, rapid melting of polar ice caps and its consequences, ocean pollution, food security issues, animal migrations, soil pollution in agriculture and food chain issues, forest extinction, and the sixth mass extinction. The Foundation will create an advisory environmental scientist group that the invited artists can connect with for information and consultation during their residency.

Exceptional portraiture and eye-catching colors are critical elements that will simultaneously draw attention to the artwork and communicate the personality and essence of each featured Airman. Each design should consider the role of visual storytelling as a foundational component of this project and how the installation as a whole aims to be celebratory and illuminating in nature. Upon advancing to the Request for Proposal/Designs (RFP) phase, selected artists should consider the unique characteristics of their assigned Airmen while also understanding and artfully illustrating the unifying aspects between each Airman through his service. Successful artwork will weave together historical references with contemporary design elements, and it should consider how it can stand out among a group of portraits/designs. Each selected artist will receive a creative brief that includes reference imagery and background information on each assigned Airman.

World Forestry Center seeks artists, foresters, researchers, architects, designers, engineers, and visionary thinkers to submit existing innovative forest-based research and solutions for our upcoming museum exhibition: Forest Hope Through Innovation opening February 2026. In this era of profound climate uncertainty, World Forestry Center is leveraging creativity, aesthetics and art to spotlight forest-based climate solutions as an optimistic path forward. This interdisciplinary exhibition highlights the aesthetics of innovative forest-based research via emerging technology, design, engineering, and imaginative science-art collaborations. It is designed to spark climate hope and inspire community-based solutions that support the sustainability of future forests. By displaying research happening behind the scenes in incubator-type spaces, the exhibition becomes both a gallery and living laboratory; transforming museum visitors from passive observers into curious, playful, and critical participants in imagining solutions for a sustainable forest future.

The Hopper Prize is accepting entries for Fall 2025 artist grants. For this open call, they have increased grant amounts to $4,500. They will be providing 6 grants totaling $13,000 USD. This is an international open call. All media is eligible. Their open call provides you with a direct path to get your work in front of an international community of curators, artists, gallerists, and arts administrators. In addition to grants, 30 artists will be selected for a shortlist. Additional exposure is available via their online Journal as well as their Instagram feed, currently reaching an audience over 150k.

The 41st Annual International Exhibition is a juried visual art competition organized by the Department of Art and Art History at The University of Texas at Tyler. Internationally known artists, curators, and scholars have served as jurors selecting works for exhibition created by some of the best contemporary artists working today. The Department purchases three to six works from the exhibition each year; purchased works are added to our permanent collection. The permanent collection serves as an educational teaching resource; much of the permanent collection is exhibited throughout the UT Tyler main campus.

Located in the heart of downtown Ashland Virginia, the Hanover Arts & Activities Center (the Center) has long served as a home for artists and cultural activity. In partnership with the Town of Ashland (the Town), the Center invites artists working in various media to apply for a yearlong studio residency program through a juried selection process that will provide affordable, professional studio space to local artists. Through the Town’s support, a portion of each artist’s rent will be subsidized, allowing studios to be offered at a substantially reduced rate.

Small in stature, but stronger together. Rock Paper Scissor Collective's December exhibit will feature small artworks that are 10” or less. If you have work that fits these parameters, submit! Pieces must be install ready. Local artists can submit for an in person show. If you live outside the Bay Area you can still submit for our online exhibit. All accepted works will be shown online.

Indoor Mural – A painted mural located inside the Recreation Center will enliven the space with themes of unity, resilience, and community pride. The indoor mural extends across three walls. The rooms can have distinct designs, or a single design that bridges both spaces, but the color palette must be unified. Outdoor Panels – Four digitally rendered designs will be printed on stretched, anchored vinyl panels for exterior installation. The building has a series of eyelet anchor bolts incorporated into the concrete pier structures to anchor the artwork. These panels should complement the indoor mural, extending its themes and palette into the public-facing outdoor space.

The Hobe Sound Public Library, located within the Hobe Sound Community Redevelopment Area, has recently been renovated through the generosity of a local donor. To celebrate these enhancements, the library seeks to commission an artist or artist team to create a vibrant mural that highlights the joy of reading and the library's unique natural surroundings. The mural should illustrate Florida's scrub environment, incorporating native plants such as Sand Pine, Oaks, Saw Palmetto, and Rosemary, as well as local wildlife including gopher tortoises, snakes, lizards, and various birds. Additional scrub inhabitants like black bears, white-tailed deer, skunks, bobcats, and squirrels may also be included.

VisArts invites artists working in all media to apply for 2026 solo exhibitions in the Gibbs Street Gallery, Common Ground Gallery, and Concourse Gallery. Exhibitions in each of the galleries explore the breadth of contemporary art and feature emerging to mid-career artists. Exhibits reflect a wide range of media and experimental approaches that offer the viewer unexpected interactions with art.

Soul of Artists proudly presents the 3rd Online 2D Art International Exhibition a global call for visionary artists ready to express something real, soulful, and human. All subjects, styles, and techniques are honored and considered: painting, drawing, fiber, mixed media, tapestry, encaustic, one-of-a-kind prints, and any other traditional or non-traditional techniques that produce unique 2D artworks.

The City of Wichita invites professional artists and artist teams with a demonstrated history of completing permanent outdoor public art projects to submit their qualifications for a $25,000 public art commission for outdoor murals at O.J. Watson Park. The start of this project is scheduled to begin in late 2025. It is anticipated that the execution of the art will be completed in the middle of 2026. Emerging artists are encouraged to apply.​

Akademie Schloss Solitude is accepting applications for its residential fellowships for the period 2026–2028. International artists, researchers, and cultural professionals from all disciplines will have the opportunity to apply for a six- or nine-month fellowship.

The Chihuly Collection is seeking entries for a juried exhibition specifically for artists working in the medium of neon glass. This is a national exhibition, and any artist age 18 or older living in the US is eligible. The purpose of this show is to draw a connection to Dale Chihuly’s Blue Neon Tumbleweed in the Collection, and to amplify the voices of artists who utilize this engaging medium in their practices.

DRWC invites national and international artists to submit proposals for flag designs that delve into Philadelphia's history as a central immigration hub in the United States.

This theme encourages artists to investigate the diverse narratives, cultures, and contributions of immigrant communities that have shaped the city's identity over the years. Flags should embody the spirit of resilience experienced by those who have immigrated to Philadelphia, highlighting stories of hope, change, and interconnectedness. Artists are encouraged to explore a variety of interpretations, drawing inspiration from historical events, cultural traditions, and personal stories that reflect the immigrant experience in the city. While the final flags will be digitally printed, artists can submit high-quality images of physical artwork to represent their visions.

The Volunteer Photographer Program is a community outreach project of the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Foundation’s Archive. The mission of the program is to provide documentation of the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival presented by Shell for the Foundation Archive. The Festival is held at the Fair Grounds Race Course at 1751 Gentilly Blvd., New Orleans, LA.

They invite artists working in the medium of quilt making to submit work for the inaugural Fine Arts Quilts exhibition celebrating the artistic and expressive potential of quilts. This juried show seeks quilts that demonstrate originality, strong design and the visual impact of fine art–beauty for its own sake. Whether abstract or representational, minimalist or intricate, entries should showcase quilting as a serious art form. Traditional techniques are welcome if presented in innovative ways. All entries must be original compositions and may include mixed media, surface design, or unconventional materials. Best of Show may be presented the opportunity to have a future solo show at the Loewen Studio & Gallery.

The Colored Pencil Society of America proudly presents Explore This! 22, the prestigious annual online juried international exhibition which celebrates the creativity achieved by combining colored pencil with other media or alternative drawing supports. Entries must be predominantly colored pencil.

Artist Grant has supported artists worldwide since 2017 by providing an unrestricted $1,200 grant to one artist three times each year. Deadlines are March 15, July 15, and November 15. Visual artists 18 years of age and older from anywhere in the world, working in any media (excluding film/video, music, theater, and dance) may apply.

The Nature Photography Contest has 10 categories for you to submit your images of natural landscapes, wildlife, macrophotography and more. You can win cash prizes and international recognition. TIDAL ArtS launches a new residency call offering €50,000 grants to artists or collectives for site-based residencies in four distinctive European aquatic regions: Venice, the Azores, Turku Archipelago, and the Danube. Selected artists will have time, space, and local support to develop ambitious works inspired by oceans, rivers, basins, and ecological relationships. The call encourages proposals that bridge art, environment, and community, exploring place, water, and human/nonhuman entanglements.

Sebastopol Center for the Arts Ceramics Artist in Residence program is designed to invite exceptional ceramicists to experiment with themes and ideas in a self-directed setting. This 6-week residency program offers the space to create a cohesive body of work in a collaborative community. In addition to opportunities to lead two classes or workshops, artist talk, and opportunity to support emerging artists in the Incubator program, the program culminates with a gallery exhibition at the end of the residency period.

The call is open to photographers, video artists and designers who want to confront this theme through works that explore revelation as a visual, narrative, symbolic or emotional act, capable of suggesting, denouncing, moving, or simply provoking thought. The collective exhibition "Revelations" will investigate the concept of revelation as a moment of truth, insight or unveiling. The Kindling Fund awards project grants ranging from $3,000 - $7,000 (with smaller Research and Development Grants) to Maine-based artists of all career levels, who organize projects that engage audiences and the visual arts in inventive and meaningful ways. The Kindling Fund values and uplifts artistic collaboration (or collaboration with community), applicants seeking support at the $5500-$7000 must have at least one stated core collaborator. In the context of this grant, the visual arts is defined as broadly as possible and includes: photography, video, non-traditional performance, ceramics, earth works, drawing, bookmaking, weaving, crafts, installations, painting, mail art, printmaking, basketry, sculpture, text art or calligraphy, social-engagement, participatory or community driven projects, glass, non-commercial fields of design, and the alternative spaces, artistic collectives, art writing, and artistic platforms that support that work.

The University of Victoria & Jeffrey Rubinoff Sculpture Park Artist Scholar Residency was created by an interinstitutional partnership and their unwavering belief in cultivating the arts. This Residency is for artists and scholars seeking space to focus on creating a work for exhibition or publication that is informed by their investigation of Rubinoff’s work and their experience working at the sculpture park.

The Victorian Artists Society announces 2025 Major Prize $17,000, the Hylton Mackley Artist of the Year Award. VAS invites new and existing members to enter the VAS Seasonal Select Exhibitions and be eligible for peer selection into this prestigious Artist of the Year Award. Artists must be a 2025 VAS Member and exhibit in at least 2 of their 3 seasonal shows to be eligible for peer vote into the Artist of the Year Exhibition. Each seasonal show also has its own $1500 prize: Autumn (27 March-13 April), Winter (17 July-7 August), Spring (4-21 September). Finalists will be invited to submit up to 3 works for the Artist of the Year Exhibition, 19 November-14 December.
