We welcome artists working in all media, as well as interdisciplinary artists incorporating print into installation, sculpture, or book arts. Artists from adjacent fields such as drawing, painting, and illustration are also encouraged to apply, especially those with an interest in print-based experimentation. No previous experience in printmaking is required.
Studio / Workspace
Fees
Our residency program is priced at approximately $1,500 USD. This fee includes accommodations, all printmaking materials, and access to our master printer during working hours. Residents staying for three weeks or more are eligible for a weekly discount. If your goal is to produce an edition during your stay, you will retain the full edition, with the exception of a few artist proofs for our archive.

The Robert Rauschenberg Foundation is pleased to announce an open call for applications to the sixth annual Archives Research Residency, a one- to three-week research intensive at the Rauschenberg Foundation Archives in New York City. The program provides support for accommodations and other expenses related to the visit. The Rauschenberg Foundation Archives, consisting of Robert Rauschenberg’s personal papers and the records from his Florida and New York studios, is the most comprehensive body of information on the artist’s life and career. In addition, the archives holds unique materials on arts organizations, art movements, and collaborations in which Rauschenberg was involved. The center is located in Saint-Jean-Port-Joli, a village on the south shore of the St. Lawrence River, in a unique geographical and historical setting. The landscape is dominated by farms, forests, and the river. Saint-Jean-Port-Joli is located 115 km from Quebec City and 350 km from Montreal. The eight-week residencies, bringing together four artists and one author from the field of contemporary art, are offered in spring, summer, autumn, and winter.

The Lucid Art Foundation’s Residency Program for 2026 will focus on art and science in relation to the environment at large in light of the climate crisis. The program emphasis directs artists towards alternative ways of raising awareness and promoting action. Climate crisis areas include: biodiversity, habitat loss, rapid melting of polar ice caps and its consequences, ocean pollution, food security issues, animal migrations, soil pollution in agriculture and food chain issues, forest extinction, and the sixth mass extinction. The Foundation will create an advisory environmental scientist group that the invited artists can connect with for information and consultation during their residency.

Artists of all disciplines creating in any media are welcome to apply. Farm Studio International Artist Residency is located in a rural community in India. Residents stay and create in a quiet art centre and beautiful environment where they can develop their artwork free from accustomed distractions. Farm Studio residency provides three types of working spaces where artists can explore their art and ideas in the rural Rajasthani environment; at the Farm Studio indoor studios, the outdoor desert and farm environments, and in Andore Village. Collaboration and experimentation is encouraged. Relationships form between the artists coming from different countries and varied social, cultural, and artistic backgrounds. Many exciting exchanges and dialogues among artists take place, including scheduled artist talks, presentations, works in progress showings, etc.

Their environment is a unique archipelago. With the National Parks and the Archipelago Sea Biosphere Reserve, frozen seas, light summer nights, rich birdlife as well as amazing star nights – this place has something to offer around the year: Outer archipelago or the nearby wild forest lake, the seaside is straight outside AARK, passing ships.
AARK can offer a quiet retreat as well as a more social setting depending on the artist’s needs and other art professionals visiting. They organize a weekly informal meeting in the residency. Travel and working plans, questions, dinners and sauna … or just some coffee together.

The Ano Asites Artists Residency is the sister residency to the Lakkos Artists Residency in Heraklion city. The Lakkos Artists Residency has been running since 2015. The Residency @ Greywood Arts is an artist-run space in our iconic 3-story Georgian house located in the centre of Killeagh, a vibrant modern Irish village. The Dissour River runs alongside the residency, and the the ancient Irish woodland Glenbower is just a short walk upstream. The house and garden are also home to Greywood’s Artistic Director, Jessica Bonenfant, her husband Hughie Coogan, and a menagerie of dogs, cats, chickens and goats. The Coach House, Greywood Arts CLG’s not-for-profit creative hub with studios, art classroom and event space is adjacent to the residency.

Belgrade Art Studio brings its quirky formula of contemporary art and a warm, homey ambience to the Serbian capital. The studio opened during 2011 in a 19th-century listed building in Belgrade’s historic neighborhood of Dorćol. It provides artists with an environment to take themselves out of their daily routines, find new inspiration, conduct research and create new work. The ability to work uninterrupted for hours, days, weeks in a quiet studio. These are just a few of the reasons why so many world’s visual artists, curators, writers come to Belgrade Art Studio each year. Typically, their artists find they accomplish more in a matter of weeks at Belgrade Art Studio than they can in a year at home. It’s all about the work – art.

The Lakkos Artist Residency is a base for creatives to come and explore an authentic Greece city and a wonderful Greek island. The residency has just relocated to a new location that like the previous one needs a bit of an art injection. It’s a small area in Heraklion’s Old Town that time has not touched.
There are a couple of city beaches within walking distance. There is no obligation to put on a presentation at the end of an artist’s stay but if desired we often have one-night-only shows.

The Mentorship Residency Program at Indigo Arts Alliance in Portland, Maine, brings together artists from diverse backgrounds of the African Diaspora to engage in their creative processes while building lasting relationships rooted in co-mentorship. The program pairs a National or International artist with a Local/Regional artist to foster rich conversations, collaborations, and exchanges of experiences, knowledge, and technical skills. Artists are encouraged to work independently but are expected to dedicate 8–10 hours weekly to joint activities, including community engagement and collaborative projects. The residency provides 24-hour access to a flexible 3,000-square-foot community studio equipped for various disciplines. Visiting Artists are provided with private housing within walking distance of the studio.

The Artist In Residence Program (AIR) serves K – 5 students in all six Jamestown elementary schools following the school calendar. Residency options include a fall semester and a winter/spring semester, or both. Artists follow a visual arts curriculum structured on basic design elements working with teachers and administrators. Each rotation requires a completed “Unit Plan” which includes lesson plans or goals, supplies needed, and a section for teacher feedback. The resident artist may use the rest of the day and the weekends for personal studio time, including access to the pottery studio and print shop, and teaching classes at the Arts Center.

Breck Create’s Artist-in-Residence program offers artists across all disciplines the opportunity to focus on their creative process while engaging meaningfully with the local community. Residencies span 2 to 4 months, during which artists reside in a live/work studio within the Breckenridge Arts District, an intimate campus of historic structures nestled under majestic snow-capped peaks in cozy downtown Breckenridge. During the school year, artists serve as guest instructors in Summit County schools, providing support and supplemental curriculum to teachers. In the summertime, artists identify and collaborate with a community partner or organization on educational programs. Artists are expected to facilitate two weekly open studios on campus, instruct weekly lessons in schools and on campus, participate in on-campus public events, and collaborate with a community partner. Priority is given to artists with teaching experience.
